These high peaks, they motivate me.
They keep strong just like this mountain, to rise high,
and to be able to see the world from the top.
I want to climb there to not only gain the momentary success but to live it.
Live it like the way this lofty mountain is living it.
I can think what if, I can think why now.
I do think this is surreal,
but I don’t think I want to stop now.
I don’t want to live in the past,
I don’t want to dwell on the future.
I have lost enough to be scared now;
my will is strong and my mind sound, and I will Rise High and above it all.
Thank you for this reminder, I really need it this Monday morning.

Aaaaannnddd good luck with that. Unlike the mountain, humans are never content just to Be. Where They Are. If one attains ‘heights,’ those ‘heights’ quickly become an issue somehow. And the same human begins to yearn again. And on and on. There is another way, to accept wherever we are as the perfect place to learn, deepen and grow. And setting goals in life while being unattached to results or outcomes – a sort of humble acceptance that there are certain things that are beyond our control. And yes, it’s good to possess a sort of overview, but that comes with age and experience. But anyhow as I say, good luck! 😀
