Setting With The Sun

 

I just want to go home, take you with me somehow

No lies and I know now when you said you wanted more

you would go this far; you would leave your past to drown.

Now I don’t want to be the reason for the sadness on your face

So I’d sit by your door until the sun sets on your love.

And the waves are melting my spirit, I can see the light make way

for the night. And we are going over and over again

Trying to find in the darkness, everything you left behind.

My eyes used to be deeper than this vast ocean

until your heart shattered their resistance.
